Sauma is a restaurant with richly textured interior to complement the variety of flavours of Indian street cuisine. Set on the bustling William St, it draws the attention of passers-by.

 

With an idea of a relaxed informal dining space, the seating arrangements are designed such that foods can be shared across the table.

 

The use of upcycled cabinet doors, warm subdued lighting and posters enabled the fitout to provide a space for dining together in the rich cultural precinct of Northbridge.
